Hello MIT/GTA Community,

You are cordially invited to attend the MIT MS Multicultural Day tomorrow, May 15, 2026. Our annual event celebrates cultural contributions and diversity with an “Open Stage, Open Mind” philosophy. We have a wonderful performance lineup from 2 to 3 p.m. The stage is open from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please contact Destin Tunca, dtunca@mitacademy.org, if you would like to be added to the lineup.

We encourage parents and caregivers to:

• Coordinate the pickup of your student, since they may stay until 4:00 p.m. School dismissal is at 3:00 p.m. 

• Attend Multicultural Day.

• Give money to your student to spend. Items are between $1 to $5.

• Donate food items to any cultural/heritage booth to support the ASB’s fundraising campaign:

  • Filipino 

  • Asian (India, China, and Southeast Asia)

  • African American

  • Salvadoran

  • Mexican

  • German

If your cultural heritage or your subculture is listed, let us know that you would like a table/booth. All proceeds directly support the MIT MS ASB Leadership, which provides important activities to foster a vibrant campus life.
