Mare Island Technology Academy was founded by a group of parents who generously shared their time, talents, and treasures. We appreciate the dedication of these parent educators. Their spirit of coming together to create a learning community for students to thrive and not just survive continues to be the glue that binds us together. Rituals and legacies nurture our sense of belonging. Teacher Appreciation Week is rich in history. The MITA MS Teacher Appreciation Week is guided by the school and led by parents and students. We seek and welcome parent involvement.
