Summer school sign-up is a first come first serve. This Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) is open to all students. It is highly recommended for incoming 6th graders. As per grant funding, priority is given to the current 6th graders. Enrollment is limited to 84 students.
At Mare Island Technology Academy Middle School, all students deserve every support and opportunity to foster socio-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The summer school program provides a safe and engaging learning environment to extend the school year. There are many benefits to attending summer school:
Prevent summer brain drain. Learning loss occurs when students do not maintain academic and cognitive momentum over the summer break.
Register for summer school using the Google form link or scan QR code. Space is limited to 84 students.
Summer School is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There are three daily components: 1) morning care and breakfast; 2) morning academic enrichment program; 3) and afternoon arts and PE enrichment program. The morning care is optional. Students may choose to attend the morning academic enrichment, the afternoon arts and PE enrichment or BOTH programs.
All summer school students shall have a Solano County Library card. Please get a library card.
