Don’t miss the learning and FUN!

Summer school sign-up is a first come first serve. This Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) is open to all students. It is highly recommended for incoming 6th graders. As per grant funding, priority is given to the current 6th graders. Enrollment is limited to 84 students.

At Mare Island Technology Academy Middle School, all students deserve every support and opportunity to foster socio-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The summer school program provides a safe and engaging learning environment to extend the school year. There are many benefits to attending summer school:

  • Maintain or Catch Up on Key Skills
  • Learn New Skills
  • Stay Active
  • Build Confidence
  • Experience fun and flexible learning

Prevent summer brain drain. Learning loss occurs when students do not maintain academic and cognitive momentum over the summer break.
