Conferences

A red apple sits atop a stack of books with pencils on a wooden table, with the words 'Parent-Teacher Conference' on a green chalkboard.

Mare Island Technology Academy values a strong partnership with parents and caregivers to meet the high standards set forth for a charter school. A parent-teacher conference is when important people in a student’s life can talk about how the student is doing in school. We encourage parent-teacher conferences at any time throughout the school year. We also set aside Conference Week to provide targeted and dedicated support to ensure that all students can access the adopted curriculum.

Conference Week for the 2024-2025 school year:

October 2 – October 4, 2024: Semester 1 Academic Conference (D-Day Schedule)

November 12 – November 15, 2024: Semester 1 Academic Conference Part II (A-Day Schedule)

February 18 – February 21, 2025: Semester 2 Academic Conference (D-Day Schedule)

Conference Weeks have limited appointments. The staff will receive student data and select students for a conference. A portion of the appointments are set aside for parent requests.
