Important: Chromebook & Charger Audit – Thursday, Jan 8
Dear MITA Middle School Parents and Guardians,

To ensure all students have the functional technology they need for a successful second semester, we will be conducting a Chromebook and Charger Audit this Thursday, January 8, 2026.
During this audit, our Tech Team will check the physical condition of each device and verify that every student has a working, school-issued power adapter.
How You Can Help
To make this process smooth, please ensure your child brings the following to school on Thursday:
- The Chromebook (fully charged, if possible).
- The Power Adapter/Charger (specifically the one issued by the school).
- Protective Case (if one was provided).
Why are we doing this?
- Maintenance: Our Tech Team will identify any cracked screens, missing keys, or battery issues that need repair.
- Inventory: To ensure our records are accurate and that every student is prepared for upcoming assessments.
- Safety: To check for frayed cables or damaged charging ports.
Missing or Damaged Items: If your child has lost their charger or if the device has sustained damage, the Tech Team will document the issue during the audit. We will follow up with information regarding replacement costs or repair procedures if necessary.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school technology in great shape!
Best regards,
Miriam AscencioCall (707) 370-0050,
