The MITA MS dress code supports inclusion and safety. It is non-negotiable and strictly enforced. A student out of dress code will be given a conduct card and asked to call home.   • Bottoms: khaki or solid black straight-legged, flat-front pants, shorts, or skorts;

    • Twill cotton pants with pockets on the front and back

    • NO denim, stretchy or nylon material (leggings), sweatpants, sagging pants, cargo shorts/pants

    • Hems of skorts and shorts must reach or extend to the fingertips of hanging arms.

  • Outerwear: Hoodies, jackets, sweaters, raincoats can be solid black, solid white or solid gray

    • All layers worn, including long sleeves under the polo must be in the three colors (solid black, solid grey, solid white)

  • Shoes: Must be closed-toe shoes (e.g. tennis shoes appropriate for PE)

    • Shoes cannot be solid red or solid blue (all blue or red laces, shoes, and soles)

Please remember to download these important apps to your phone:

Aeries, our Student Information Platform is one of the three applications we would insist you have on your cell phone, if possible. Parentsquare is the other one.These applications are designed to keep you up to date,  well informed, and our students safe. Aeries holds any and all Academic information like grades, absences, and teacher information. It is also where you can look or edit who is on your emergency contact list, which is extremely helpful to us. Only individuals on the emergency contact list are allowed to provide permission and/or to pick up a student during the school day. Additionally, staff will only speak to individuals with educational rights regarding a student’s academic progress, specialized services, and other confidential information. We appreciate your help in maintaining an accurate database at all times.

ParentSquare, keeps you informed of ‘What is happening in our school.’ Upcoming school events, bell schedule changes, report cards, Weekly or Semi-Weekly Announcements, and the Superintendent Update will come to you through ParentSquare. It is very important to note that if you have children at any other school, you register the same email to be able to toggle and see all the schools information on one account.
SAVE THE DATE- GRIFFIN DAY WILL BE WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13, 2025. 12PM - 7PM
Enjoy the rest of your Summer!
