Hello MITA MS 8th Grade Scholars and Families,
Please review the 2nd progress report card of this semester, shared with you last month. We have identified students currently receiving 2 or more F’s and have assigned mentors to each student. We encourage parents and students to check their grades via Aeries regularly and work directly with the teachers to ensure that you can participate in the Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the school. Below are our academic and behavioral expectations to participate in the promotion ceremony for 2025.

Every year, we ask families for their support in creating a memorable ceremony for the students. We’ve had families donate candy to make a lei for every student when they walk across the stage. We’ve asked families to donate silk florals to decorate the space that we reuse. This year, we are asking for families to donate confetti poppers. You may order the item below or donate money to the school to purchase it. Money donations will be accepted until Friday, May 30, 2025. We kindly ask that the donations happen as soon as possible so that we can plan the Promotion Ceremony accordingly.
